‘The first in a three-stage project at Ahuriri Quadrant...’ Client Westshore Limited Contract period 15 months Date Completed 6 October 2006   Approximate cost $15 million Scope of work Stage One of the three-stage Ahuriri Quadrant project, The Terraces are multi level modular townhouse buildings featuring private gardens, garaging and louvered windows for extra privacy. Highlights All parties involved in this three-stage project gained a tremendous amount of satisfaction seeing the first stage of this extensive project completed. Another enjoyable aspect of this project has been the strong relationship developed with the client’s site representative, Rick Willoughby of Globe Holdings. Challenges, problems and solutions Several aspects of this design were to challenge our skills with precision work. The foundations for the modular units allowed a margin of error of only 3 millimeters! Our programme coordination was also tested with the plan to raise the ground level for the outdoor living areas meaning all sub contractor work had to be synchronised with the completion of the retaining wall.
