APPROXIMATE COST $5.7 million (construction cost - seating and overlay flooring not included)

SKOPE OF WORK The construction of a 2600m2 stadium plus squash courts, function rooms, gymnasium, aerobics room, science labs and amenities (total area 5900m2).

CHALLENGES The first 7 months of this project were affected by frustrating bouts of inclement weather, at times forcing progress to grind along at a snails pace.  Despite this, we were determined to achieve the 10 month deadline, set in order to meet the clients' booked commitments.

HIGHLIGHTS Delivering a high quality building within the set completion date and maintaining positive relationships with everyone throughout construction. This project received a NZ Master Builders Federation Gold award in 2004.
