Subcontractor Information

On acceptance, we require all subcontractors to complete a Site Specific Safety Plan Summary and supply a copy of their Public Liability insurance policy.  Subcontractors are required to adhere to all safety notices and hazard controls on site, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All electrical equipment must be tested every three months and have the appropriate certification. Subcontractors are included in regular site inspections and are required to have a representative attend Tool Box meetings.

We require payment claims to be submitted using the industry standard form. Progress claims must be received by our office no later than the 28th of each month.  

All operations must comply with the requirements of Alexander Construction’s Standard Master Builders Subcontract Agreement and Special Conditions of Subcontract. Subcontractors must ensure labour and material requirements are programmed and sourced to prevent any unnecessary delays to the progress of work.
