 HUGH SINTON
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE & HOMETEAM MANAGER
Hughs first experience on site was working for free, as a labourer for his father in Dunedin. Moving to Western Australia, Hugh then contracted as a labourer to Taylor Woodrow , a multinational housing company, gaining valuable experience in the building trade. Enjoying working with people in the building trade and a desire to move more into sales, lead Hugh to work for a building supplies company in Australia, before moving back to the Bay in 1995.
Hugh and his family settled in to Napier ,starting work in the yard at Carters before progressing to commercial and house group representative and then joinery representative. Hugh was with Carters for nearly 13 years, becoming a well known identity in the HB building scene while servicing large & small building companies as Trade Representative while also holding a position on the Health & Safety committee.
Hugh has since gained valuable experience as an Account Manager for a multinational property services company and quantity surveying experience at a local Professional Quantity Surveying practice. This led to Hugh accepting a role as Territory Sales Representative for Hardies where he continued to expand his relationships with building contractors and architectural consultants.
Hugh joined Alexander Construction in 2011, after 15 years association, bringing experience in sales, marketing, account management and industry knowledge to lead our Property Maintenance and Home Team
